Our Sires

MacCauley 4756

MacCauley 4756

Purchased in MacCauley’s April 2020 Online Sale, his first lamb crop in 2021 was nothing but exciting. He is a super correct, big footed ram with great balance and rib shape. 4756 is sired by MacCauley 3836 RR and dammed by MacCauley 3100 RR. He always has a presence about him, whether in the barn or pasture. He is siring nice square hips and adding muscling, all while improving balance and eye appeal. Might be the most consistent sire we have used in our slick shorn program to date!

Quam 7-66ET RR

Quam 7-66ET RR

We leased this ram as a lamb from Rex and he sired a very nice set of lambs, and he stamped rib shape, bone, and fleshing ability in his daughters. After breeding ewes in MN and in IN as a lamb, he went on to NAILE in November of 2018 and was 2nd place fall and member of the 1st place Pair of Ram Lambs. He is sired by “BuckWheat” Diamond Lane 4-2222, and dammed by the powerful Nielsen 438 ewe. When Rex had his dispersal in 2020, we thought he was a must add. He sired another very nice set of lambs again in 2021, and his daughters from the 2019 lamb crop were impressive in the lambing barn last winter as well.
